Anne Kernian has been designing and marketing beautiful, contemplative cards and
bookmarks for more than 20 years.
These are the retreat centers I enjoy working with:
JRH is the oldest continuing retreat house in the US. It offered the first retreats for Catholic lay people in the nation and the first AA weekend retreats. Truly a place of peace. JRH is located in Parma, OH, a suburb of Cleveland.
Loyola is a Benedictine retreat center. It is in a lovely rural Ohio setting. It is handicapped accessible! Loyola is in Clinton, Ohio - just a few miles from the Akron-Canton Airport.
John XXIII is a small, creative center. They work hard to build a sense of togetherness and offer a variety of programs focused on mysticism and contemplative prayer. The Center is in Hartford City, Indiana - about 90 minutes north of Indianapolis and 2 hours from Dayton OH.
Pecos hosts an internationally and ecumenically renowned School of Spiritual Direction that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011. I am blessed to serve on the faculty of the School and to offer retreats at the monastery. It is located in the high desert of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, about 20 miles from Santa FE, New Mexico.
The Campion Center is a venerable retreat center and provincial center and retirement facility for the New England province of the Jesuits. I made a retreat there in 1983! It is a great home for the Spiritual Exercise. The Center is in Weston, Massachusetts, about half an hour west of Boston.
Living Waters Catholic Reflection Center
Living Waters is a quirky, wonderful place. A motel-turned-into-a-retreat-center set in the astonishing beauty of the Smoky Mountains, it is a lovely spot to settle in for a few days of intimacy with the Creator of the beauty around you! It is located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. It is so far down in the southwest corner of North Carolina that is closer to Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia than the main cities of North Carolina.
